Lady Luck Songs
projects.

about.
Lady Luck Songs was created because we believe in the power of music. Our hope is that the words we use in our songs touch the listener and help them in some way. We absolutely love what we do, and feel lucky that we get to wake up everyday and do a job that we truly enjoy.
Founder and songwriter, Kim Penz formed Lady Luck Songs in 2016. After getting her start as an artist in Texas, performing at opries and Johnnie High’s Country Music Review, she recorded her first EP at Rosewood Studios in Tyler, Texas. Her friends Steve Holy and LeAnn Rimes, who were recording at Rosewood at the same time, helped draw her to Music City in 2000 after a few songs she wrote were well-received.
Along with newly signed Roger Springer and Hailey Steele, current Lady Luck Songs staff writer includes burgeoning talent Davis Corley (lyricist), who has been garnering success for the company. Corley has tallied several independent and major label releases, including multiple Honey County cuts -- which were featured on the television series Yellowstone -- and a Dan Smalley release with “If I’m Being Honest," respectively. Penz is enthusiastic about exciting things to come from this gentleman.
