Meet The Team
Founder & Songwriter
Kim Penz
Kim began her career in Texas singing alongside LeAnn Rimes, Jessica Simpson and Steve Holy. Mike Borchetta believed in her talent and brought her to Nashville where she signed her first major record deal in 2000. Unfortunately, the company shut down and Kim returned to Texas where she founded a successful packaging company, but she didn't feel complete without music. Following her heart, she sold her business in 2012 and pursued a career in real estate, which allowed her to frequently travel to Nashville to form relationships and do what she loved - write music. This ultimately led to the creation of Lady Luck Songs in 2015. She’s always Studied songs, so publishing was the next step. Kim’s love for music is infectious – spreading to each and every person she creates with. We can’t wait to see where she takes the Lady Luck Songs team in the future.
